The Best Rupay Credit Card for 2026
Rupay cards are excellent for UPI spenders. Some cards, like Kiwi and Super.money, offer flat, assured cashback on everyday UPI transactions. Moreover, there are exclusive offers; for instance, a current promotion provides an additional ₹250 cashback for those who haven’t used their Rupay card, simply by linking it and making two payments. This offer is live until March 31, 2026.
I’ve been using them for around two years, and they are my UPI defaults. However, one thing I’ve noticed about the major Rupay cards I’ve used so far is that they weren’t good for online shopping. That’s why I had to keep cards like Flipkart Axis card with yearly charges. Rupay cards were not my primary choice for online shopping until I upgraded from Jupiter Edge to Edge+ Rupay credit card.
The Jupiter Edge+ credit card is, in my view, the best card out today, among the best Rupay credit cards in 2026. The main reason is that, not only does it offer cashback on UPI scan-and-pay merchant payments, it also provides cashback on online payments across my preferred websites (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Trends)for everyday shopping.
Why It is the Best Card
1. It’s lifetime free
The best part is that it is a lifetime free credit card. However, if you check the Jupiter Edge+ website, it mentions a one-time joining fee of ₹499. That said, for many users, the joining fee is waived.
In my case, it was offered as a lifetime free credit card with no joining fee. If you don’t want to pay the joining fee either, you can keep the Jupiter app installed. Initially, some users may see a joining fee, but based on my experience, it was waived after 2–3 months.
2. 10% cashback on Flipkart/Amazon
I use the card the most on Flipkart Minutes and Amazon Fresh. For my weekly and everyday grocery shopping, it gives an additional 10% cashback.
The surprising part is that it outperforms their co-branded cards—Flipkart Axis and Amazon Pay ICICI—which offer only 5% cashback. However, in one billing cycle (simply put, one month), the cashback is capped at ₹1,500.
3. 5% cashback on travel platforms
It also offers cashback on popular online travel booking platforms such as MakeMyTrip, EaseMyTrip, Yatra, and Cleartrip. However, for travel bookings, it may not be the ideal card, as better deals are often available with premium credit cards offered by banks.
4. Up to 5% cashback on UPI spends
Initially, it offered flat cashback on UPI spends over ₹100. Currently, the cashback scheme offers up to 5% on spends of ₹1,000, meaning you receive ₹50 as cashback—effectively a 5% return.
Cashback is not applicable on UPI transactions in certain categories, including digital goods, gaming, money transfers, and fuel.
Why It is One of The Best Rupay Credit Cards Today
I mostly use it on Flipkart Minutes and Amazon Fresh. In addition, you earn 10% cashback on Myntra, Ajio, Zara, Nykaa, Croma, Reliance Trends, Tata Cliq, and Reliance Digital—perks you rarely see on any other card, especially a RuPay credit card. And all of this comes with an LTF (lifetime free) card, which is quite rare.
