Compare Product Prices Across Amazon, Flipkart & More in Seconds (No App Needed)

You know what I usually do when I want to buy a product? Let’s say I have to buy a face cream or face wash. I used to visit multiple e-commerce platforms…..Flipkart, …..Amazon…..Bigbasket…..Swiggy Instamart, to check where it’s cheaper. And I’m sure you do this too.

It takes time.  Every time you have to copy the product name, open another app (or website), search again, compare again. Recently, I came across something interesting.

You don’t need to download any app. You don’t need to sign up anywhere. It’s just a small trick, something like the YouTube Video Downloading Trick where you just add ss in the URL, and the video is ready to download.

Let me explain properly.

So I was buying this product on Flipkart:

A product on Flipkart

Smart & Handsome Instant Brightening Freshness Face Wash.

I was on the product page, and I wanted to check whether Amazon or any other platform was selling it at a lower price. Normally, I would manually open Amazon and search for it. That’s my traditional approach.

But this time, I will copy the URL, open Chrome and paste it in the URL bar.

For Example, if the original URL is:

https://flipkart.com/xyz

Add flash.co:

flash.co/https://flipkart.com/xyz

Copy the URL

Paste the link in your browser. Now, all you have to do is go to the URL bar of that product page and add flash.co/ to the beginning of the link you have just copied.

URL bar

Once you do that, the Flash AI will do the magic. It will compare across different platforms. It checks Amazon and other websites and tells you where the product is available at the lowest price.

Flash AI is brewing Finding the lowest price

It finds the same product across platforms and compares the prices for you. When I tried it, it showed me the price on Flipkart, Amazon, and a few other platforms. In a few seconds.

The lowest price

I don’t know exactly how it pulls the data from different platforms, but it definitely saves effort. Especially when you don’t want to manually compare everything. I found this somewhere and thought I should share it with you.

If you’re someone who always checks multiple platforms before buying, this might actually save you time. I’m not exactly sure how it works. For some products, it searches across five to ten platforms, while for others, it may only check two or three.

I don’t know how the platforms are selected or how the algorithm decides where to search. Sometimes you might see multiple different price suggestions; that’s something I’ve personally experienced.

However, you can definitely give it a try if you want to compare the same product’s price across multiple platforms. It may not always give perfect results, but for many products, it works quite well.

Let me know if you try it and what kind of deals you find.
