How to Use Amazon Pay Balance Offline via UPI (Simple Method)

If you have Amazon Pay balance and want to use it offline via UPI, there is a working method. Today I’m going to explain how you can use your Amazon Pay balance at offline merchants.

Amazon Pay balance can be used across many platforms along with the Amazon ecosystem, but sometimes you feel restricted when you want to use it. So if you’re not able to use it directly, here’s an option. To use it, you need an active PhonePe account and an app called SaveSage.

Step 1: Download the SaveSage App

SaveSage app is mainly for credit card bill payments, but apart from that, you can also buy different brands’ gift vouchers,  including PhonePe gift vouchers. And the good part is that you can buy PhonePe gift vouchers using Amazon Pay Balance.

Step 2: Buy a PhonePe Gift Voucher

1. Open SaveSage
2. Go to the gift voucher section
3. Choose PhonePe Gift Voucher
4. Pay using Amazon Pay Balance.
5. Once completed, you’ll receive a PhonePe gift voucher code.

Note: PhonePe gift card is not available now on SaveSage.

Step 3: Add the Voucher to PhonePe

1. Download/open the PhonePe app.
2. Add the PhonePe gift voucher code to your account.
3. It will show up in your PhonePe Gift Voucher Balance.

If you’ve been using PhonePe for a long time, you already know that this balance can be used to make merchant UPI payments, but only to merchants who have a PhonePe QR code.

Step 4: Make Offline UPI Payments Using This Balance

Find any nearby merchant who has a PhonePe QR code. Start scan and pay. Your PhonePe gift voucher balance will be used for the transaction. You can use the balance:

• Either in one go
• or in multiple transactions

With this method, you can convert your Amazon Pay balance into usable PhonePe gift card balance for UPI merchant transactions.
