SuperCard Pro Credit Card: Joining Bonus ₹500 + Flat 3% Cashback
Rupay cards are gaining momentum for two main reasons. First, they let you make merchant UPI payments around you, online and offline. Second, the rewards you get on Rupay-based UPI payments are higher compared to traditional UPI payments via a bank.
In fact, Rupay-based UPI payments are growing at eight times the rate of traditional UPI payments. A big part of this is the government’s push for a cashless economy. In 2023, Rupay’s market share was just 3%, but it jumped to 12% in just a year. The credit goes to the reward programs being run by startups for making UPI payments via credit cards. Popular UPI apps like Kiwi and Jupiter even offer a flat 2% cashback on every transaction.

Cashback Policy
There are a couple of things to note about the cashback. Cashback is only provided when the minimum payment is ₹100. This might be a drawback for some, but most UPI cards don’t offer flat cashback on transactions below ₹100 anyway.
Additionally, you’ll only receive up to ₹500 in cashback per cycle. Super.money initially partnered with Utkarsh Small Finance Bank, and now they’ve rolled out these new cards with Axis Bank. Overall, this card is a good option for daily UPI spenders.
You get different cashback rates depending on where you spend:
- 3% Cashback: When you make payments using your card through the Super.money Platform.
- 1% Cashback: On all other spending (non-UPI or not through the Super.money app).
- You can earn a maximum of ₹500 in cashback per billing cycle (which is usually a month). So, no matter how much you spend, you won’t get more than ₹500 back.
What Spending DOESN’T Get You Cashback
These types of transactions will not earn you any cashback: Fuel, jewellery, cash withdrawal, EMI transactions, insurance, rent payments, wallet loads, education, government services, utilities, gold related, other Financial Services
Example of How Cashback is Calculated:
Let’s say in a month (billing cycle):
- You spend ₹10,000 on UPI through the Super.money app (3% cashback).
- You spend ₹10,000 on other things (non-UPI, 1% cashback).
- You also convert ₹10,000 into EMIs (no cashback).
Your cashback calculation would be:
- ₹2,0000 (Super.money UPI) x 3% = ₹600
- ₹1,0000 (other spends) x 1% = ₹100
- Total cashback = ₹600 + ₹100 = ₹700
Even though the total cashback is ₹700. You will receive only ₹500 as there’s a cap of ₹500 per statement cycle.
