What is Kiwi Neon Membership?

It is an annual membership program rolled out for select users who have credit card issues via Kiwi app on or after 4th July 2024. The membership is valid for one year from the date of enrollment. Kiwi seems to have launched this membership as part of a limited trial initiative, priced at ₹999. However, it is free to those who have enrolled for this program before April 15, 2025, as clarified in Kiwi’s article.

Benefits of Kiwi Neon

1. 2% on scan & pay transactions
2. 0.5 % on online transactions
3. Milestone rewards: 3% cashback on eligible spends of Rs. 50,000, 4% on Rs. 1,00,000, and 5% on Rs. 1,50,000
4. Cashback up to ₹100 monthly on other cards used via Kiwi app
5. Special deals for Kiwi Neon users (listed on Kiwi app or store)

Your base cashback starts at 2%. For every ₹50,000 you spend, your flat cashback rate increases by 1%—

So it goes from 2% → 3% → 4% → up to a maximum of 5%.

Plus, for every ₹50,000 spend milestone, you also get 1 free lounge access. However, milestone rewards are only calculated on eligible spends.

Milestone Rewards for Kiwi Neon Users

When you spend money using the Kiwi app, you can earn extra cashback beyond 2% (called milestone rewards) if your total eligible spends cross certain levels in a year. 

Some spends like scan and pay and online transactions give you instant cashback. Let’s say you make a scan and pay UPI transaction. You will receive instant 2% cashback in the form of Kiwis. 

When your total spending crosses a milestone (like ₹50K, ₹100K, ₹150K), you will get bonus cashback. This is called a milestone reward. 

How Milestone Cashback is Credit for Kiwi Neon Users (in simple words)

Let’s understand it with this scenario: 

If you’re not a Kiwi Neon user and you spend ₹50,000, you get 2% cashback, which means you’ll earn ₹1,000 on 50 spend. 

But if you’re a Kiwi Neon user, the moment you reach ₹50,000 in total spending, you get an extra ₹500 as milestone reward, added to your account in the form of Kiwis. 

So your total cashback becomes ₹1,500 for the same ₹50,000 spend. This means you earn 1% extra just by hitting the milestone as a Neon user. Also, this milestone reward is added within 30 days of achieving the milestone.

Milestone rewards won’t be counted for the services below: 

1. Agricultural and Veterinary Services
2. Government payments (like taxes, fines, court costs)
3. Auto rentals, repairs, fuel stations
4. Legal, accounting, or educational institutions
5. Utility bill payments (like electricity, telecom, cable)
6. Marketing or advertising services
